Spiritual Coaching
What is a Spiritual Coach?
A Spiritual Coach is like a midwife, coaching individuals through the birthing process
into the life they were born to live; a life of meaning, purpose, joy and fulfillment that
includes but goes far beyond material success.
A Spiritual Coach does not do the work for the individual, rather he or she strives to
encourage, inspire, support, educate and hold that individual accountable for the
development and completion of the plans and processes they develop together.
A Spiritual Coach does his or her work from a faith-based foundation, grounded in
universal principles of truth. The objective is to help the individual to know and
express his or her full potential as a unique expression of the divine attributes of the
Creator.
A Spiritual Coach works with his or her client through the discovery that our spiritual
life cannot be separated from our personal lives; that our dreams and desires, as well
as gifts, talents and purpose in life have been planted within by the Creator.
A Spiritual Coach helps the individual to discern and clarify that which is meaningful
and important in their life, and then to develop a plan of action that will assure these
things have the right place and expression in the life of the individual.
A Spiritual Coach works with the individual to explore and understand his or her belief
system, relationship with God/Spirit/The Divine, relationship with self, and to assure
these relationships are healthy, happy, and working for the highest and best for all.
Who would benefit from Spiritual Coaching? Anyone who seeks a closer,
conscious relationship with the Divine and a life of fulfillment, joy and meaning will find
this process invaluable.
What are the requirements for participation? Requirements for participation
include willingness to commit to the process, and the work necessary for success.
How does Spiritual Coaching work? What would I be doing? The Spiritual Coach
provides the individual with information, tools and exercises to facilitate the desired
outcomes. These include methods of self-exploration, prayer and meditation, reading
assignments and activities. The Spiritual Coach monitors the progress of the
individual, and they, together, create plans and set goals. Spiritual coaching is a
journey, not a destination. It is an ongoing process.
But do I really need a Spiritual Coach? While there are a rare few individuals who
can make great achievements on their own, the vast majority of us can be greatly
helped by having a coach to help us stay on task, evaluate our own progress, and
continually refine objectives.
What does Spiritual Coaching cost? The price varies, based on the investment of
time and energy the individual wishes to devote to the process, as well as the method
of coaching. For example, will the coaching be in person or via phone and Internet,
etc. Generally the price ranges from $40 to $150 per month, with a three month
commitment. 10% discount for payment in advance. For more information, contact
